Studies
The project activities are organized into two separate studies. Both
studies takes its point of departure in the municipality of Umeå, but
covers different technologies and also different parts of the organization.
In this organization, one study, IT mediated organizational
change, focuses on the design and early use of a Intranet based software
application that is used over most of the branches of the organization. The
other project,
computer-mediated
communication and organisational learning, focuses on the role of internal
messaging systems as mediators of organisational learning.
