My main areas of interest in research are Participatory Design and Entertaining Educational Computer Games. I have been lecturing at the Department of Informatics, Umeå University, since 2001. My PhD-studies started in 2004.

Research cases
Participation of children aged 5 to 7 in design of an educational computer game, collboration with BBC and North Kingdom. Still work in progress.
Rixdax (a game for teenagers to learn about the work by the Swedish Parliament).
His and Hers (a game in both Swedish and English, where teenagers are encouraged to reflect upon gender issues in society). The game recived second prize and the jurys honorary mention at the Basel Karlsruhe Festival: on educational television and multimedia, 2004.
In these cases, my focus is on the participation of children and teenagers, and I contribute with the design of user and evaluation sessions.
