Partnership in Research Projects (financed by external grants)
The ISAC project at the department Information and Computer Science, RIT. (Information Systems work and Analysis of Changes) The ISAC systems development method was based on the findings of this project. My contribution to the project was to introduce and test ways of describing and analysing enterprise activities. [1971 - 1977]
The AMIS project at the department of Information and Computer Science, LU. (The Swedish acronym AMIS stands for what in English could be expressed as: People, Computer technology, and Working life.) The project was an interdisciplinary one, undertaken jointly with the department of Applied Psychology, Lund University. The project studied various forms of codetermination, distribution of responsibility, competence, and autonomy in the use and development of information systems. It particularly contrasted traditional ways of stepwise development with continuously ongoing development. [1988 - 1991]
Supervision of research students
I only include supervision of those students, who received their PhDs while I acted as their supervisor. The year shows when they received their degree. In most cases the supervision had taken place during several years before. Finally the name of the student's thesis is given. In addition, I have supervised some more PhD students, who received their degrees under further supervision of my successor. I also have supervised a number of MSc projects.
The table showing the names, the year of their examination, and the titles of their theses of six people taking their Ph.D. during 1985 - 1992 has temporarily been eliminated. This is due to the fact that a new Swedish law "interpreting" European rules for personal integrety, PUL, Personuppgiftslagen, i.e. Law about publishing of information about people, is going to make it unlawful to disclose anything about named perons on a Web site, unless they expressively have given their consent to such publication.
I will take contact with my former students to get permission to publish these data again later on.
