Information and communication technology (ICT) is more and more influencing us all, both in our pro-fessional and private lives and in our role as citizens. Focusing on the professional role, this is true with regard to the nature of our work, the design of our organisations, in communication between people and also in leadership and managerial roles. Quality of life, power, competence development, stress and the home of the future are other key issues related to the ongoing convergence of technologies.
